Southern Rivers Energy held its 85th Annual Meeting of Members in a drive-thru format on Aug. 27 in Barnesville.
Members had the opportunity to vote early at the office the entire month of August. Printed in the August Georgia Magazine, members were given a copy of the 2021 Annual Report, 2021 Annual Meeting Minutes, the Nominating Committee’s Report and a ballot.
277 members voted early and another 142 registered members cast their vote on Saturday to approve the minutes and reelect the following directors to the board for a three-year term: Millie Alexander, Andy Bush and Harry Park.
Door Prize Winners
All members who brought their registration cards for early voting received a special gift along with their registration gift and were entered to win a $100 SRE bill credit. Bamon Respress of Musella was the lucky $100 bill credit winner!

The bill credits will be applied to the winning accounts automatically.
