Scholarships

Southern Rivers Energy believes in investing in youth.

Each year, the co-op sponsors two high school students on the Washington Youth Tour in addition to sponsoring youth electrification career development events in partnership with high school FFA advisors through Agriculture CTAE pathways. SRE also partners with area schools to help local students realize their dreams of post-secondary education through two unique scholarship programs.

Learn more about these scholarships below. Any questions should be directed to Kathryn Green, 770-358-5772, or toll-free at 1-877-358-1383 ext. 348.

Statement on AI Usage for Scholarship Applications

At Southern Rivers Energy, we recognize that AI tools such as ChatGPT, Bard, and others can be valuable resources. These tools can help generate ideas and refine your thoughts, but the final submission should reflect your own work. As with any other resource, you should avoid directly copying content that you did not create.
